BOLINGBROKE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Marrow 41, a farm-to-table restaurant in Bolingbroke, has closed its doors effective immediately, according to an announcement made late Tuesday on the restaurant’s Facebook page by Chef Josh Howard and the restaurant team.

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce Marrow41 will be closed effective immediately,” the post reads. “This decision wasn’t easy, and we’ve cherished every moment serving you and being a part of this incredible community.”

Marrow 41, which opened in April 2021, was known for its southern charm and commitment to using only the finest locally sourced ingredients, according to the restaurant’s website. Patrons enjoyed seasonal menus, a diverse selection of wines, signature cocktails and live entertainment featuring up-and-coming Southern performers. The restaurant, located in a quiet cul-de-sac in Bolingbroke, offered the “best southern dishes made from the the freshest fruits and vegetables, the finest meats, seafood and poultry middle Georgia has to offer.”

Chef Joshua Howard, whose style was influenced by his travels across North America, Europe, and the Far East, thanked customers in Tuesday’s post.

“Thank you for making Marrow41 a special place filled with unforgettable memories,” he wrote. “Your smiles, laughter, and feedback have been the heart of our journey, and we couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you for being part of our story. We’ll treasure the memories forever and hope our paths cross again in the future.
