Marines pitching in to provide toys for kids on Christmas

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Marines nationwide are beginning to collect goods to give to children during the holiday season.

Gunnery Sergeant Scott Schamber and Wendy Chadwell with Toys for Tots stopped by the 41NBC studio to discuss what they have coming up.

Schamber said it’s all about giving back and helping the community.

Toys for Tots has an event coming up this weekend at Bass Pro Shops and their big ‘”stuff the truck” event on December 10. They are currently collecting donations.
