Man shot, killed at club shooting in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – An early morning shooting at a local club left one man dead.

Bibb County deputies say 29-year-old Aquallo Davis was shot and killed after a shooting at 3:00 a.m. at Club Status, 4740 Pio Nono Avenue, in Macon on Wednesday.

An off-duty deputy responded to a fight in the club’s parking lot.

The deputy says he heard one shot in the rear parking lot, then found Davis laying on the ground.

Bibb County Corner Leon Jones pronounced Davis dead on the scene.

The suspect was last seen driving off in a dark color Jeep Cherokee.

No one else was injured during the incident.
