Man shot in east Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man is in stable condition at the hospital after being shot in the shoulder Sunday morning.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says it happened at a home located at 2066 Melton Avenue just after 9 o’clock. 46-year-old Raymond Harris told investigators he was standing on his cousin’s porch when he heard a shot and ran into the house. He was taken to Medical Center, Navicent Health.
