Man sentenced to 20 years for stealing mail

An investigation revealed hundreds of incidents of stolen mail, stolen identities and stolen money.

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) -A Monroe County man will spend the next two decades in jail after a judge sentenced him on Wednesday.
Leonard Curry was arrested on February 21, 2020, by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office for Identity Fraud, Theft, and Forgery.
An investigation revealed hundreds of incidents of stolen mail, stolen identities and stolen money.
The victims were from not only Monroe County, but, throughout Georgia.
Curry will serve 20 years for Identity Fraud, Theft, Forgery, and RICO.
