Man sentenced to 18 years in prison for Pizza Hut armed robbery

Macon, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man was sentenced on Tuesday to 18 years in prison without the possibility of parole.

According to a news release from the Office of the District Attorney, Reginald Gilmore, 38, and another man robbed the Pizza Hut on Houston Road on August 5th 2016.

Gilmore held the restaurant’s manager at gunpoint, demanded money, and drove off.

A pizza delivery driver followed Gilmore and the other suspect to Magnolia Court Motel and then told the Pizza Hut manager and police.

Police found Gilmore and Quayshaun Adams at the motel.

Charges are still pending against Adams.
