Man hit, killed by car on Tom Hill Sr. Blvd. in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man is dead after being hit by a car Thursday night in Macon.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says 27-year-old Destinie Johnson was driving east on Tom Hill Sr. Blvd. when she had to swerve into a turn lane to avoid a car that had pulled out in front of her.

Johnson didn’t see 54-year-old Charles Ray Brown standing in the turn lane and hit him.

Brown was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No charges have been made at the time.
