Man found dead in Montezuma warehouse
Officers responded to the call of an attempted bruglary at the warehouse and found the body of a man on the metal duct work.
The man was identified as Kenneth Baine Lewis of Byromville, Georgia. Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene by Macon County Coroner Brenda Oglesby.
According to a news release, officers received a called Wednesday that someone was taking items from the business and overheard someone yelling help. A officer search the area but didn’t find anything.
This case is still under investigation.
Montezuma Police Chief Eric Finch wants to warn people that it is not safe to enter this building or any other vacant building if you don’t have authorization.
