Deputies: Man dies in motorcycle crash in Houston County

A North Carolina man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Houston County early Sunday morning.

HOUSTON COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A North Carolina man is dead after a motorcycle crash in Houston County early Sunday morning.

According to a Houston County Sheriff’s Office news release, the crash happened around 3 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 41 and Lakeview Road.

Deputies say 39-year-old Zachary Allen Eddy was driving a 2023 Indian Chieftain north on Highway 41 and failed to negotiate the roundabout and lost control of the Chieftain.

He died at the scene.
