FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Forsyth’s Malik Herring has only been in the National Football League (NFL) for three seasons, and he already has two Super Bowl rings!

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in Las Vegas Sunday night to capture back-to-back Super Bowl titles.

Malik’s mom, Sabrina, shared photos of Malik with his family and the Lombardi Trophy after the game, as well as a photo of Malik with Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes.

She also shared a clip of Malik after the game.

“Shoutout to Forsyth, man,” he said. “Thank y’all for believing in me. Thank y’all for cheering me on and supporting me man. The support was overwhelming and I appreciate it. I love y’all, and we’re bringing ring number two back to the south baby!”

Before the NFL, Malik played for Coach Brian Nelson at Mary Persons High School. He then played four seasons in college at UGA.
