Macon’s annual MLK Memorial March canceled
MACON, Georgia(41NBC/WMGT) — Due to COVID-19, the annual MLK Memorial March will not be held this year.
That’s according to an email sent to 41NBC by Kaye Cleveland, Administrative Assistant to the Clerk of Commission.
There will be a Wreath Laying Ceremony sponsored by The Martin Luther King, Jr. Board.
It’s at Rosa Parks Square on January 18 at 12 p.m.
All attendees are required to wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines.
