Deputies: Teen girl in stable condition after Saturday shooting on Pittman Street in Macon
Deputies say the teen was taken to a hospital by a personal vehicle and is recovering.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A 16-year-old girl is recovering after she was shot early Saturday on Pittman Street.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 1:19 a.m. on Saturday after a call to the Macon-Bibb 911 Center reporting a person shot in the 200 block of Pittman Street. Investigators say the teen was taken to a hospital by someone in a personal vehicle.
Medical staff told deputies she was treated for her injuries and is in stable condition, according to the sheriff’s office.
