Macon senior living community construction on schedule

A new senior living community’s construction is underway where Miller High School used to be on Montpelier Avenue.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Renovations to a new senior living community in Macon are on schedule.

Jim Huffstetler from Oracle Design Group says the rain delayed construction some Monday, but he says the A.L. Miller Village should be done on time.

The main building’s framing is about halfway done and the windows on the right side are being replaced.

“I’m expecting that when the exterior of the building is transformed that you’re going to hear some comments and some people talking about it,” said Huffstetler.

Huffstetler says it should be finished by February next year.

The buildings used to be Miller High School on Montpelier Avenue.
