MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon lottery player is heading into the holiday season with a $50,000 Powerball win after buying a ticket at a Riverside Drive gas station, according to the Georgia Lottery.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Marathon gas station at 5250 Riverside Drive and matched four of the five white-ball numbers plus the Powerball in the Saturday, December 13 drawing.

The numbers drawn on Saturday were 1-28-31-57-58 with Powerball number 16.

Two other $50,000 winning tickets were sold elsewhere in Georgia, including one in Tallapoosa and another in Smyrna, the Georgia Lottery said, but no one hit the estimated $1 billion jackpot.

The next Powerball drawing is set for 11 p.m. Monday, with a jackpot estimated at $1.01 billion and a cash option of $503.4 million, according to Powerball officials. The jackpot ranks among the largest in the game’s history.
