Macon Police Search for M&M Food Mart Shooter

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon police are searching for the person, who fired shots into the M&M food mart on Montpelier Avenue.

Shortly after 9 p.m on Friday night, a man at the store was injured when he was struck by the glass from the stray bullet. According to a news release from the Macon Police Department, officers on the scene observed bullet holes in the front store window.

The victim left the scene before officers arrived and was treated at the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
