Macon pastor charged with rape

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon pastor is booked in the Bibb County jail and charged with several counts of rape.

According to arrest warrants from January 2013, 39-year-old Yohandry Bravo is accused of raping a 16-year-old girl who was living with him and his family at the time.

In 2013, Bravo served as pastor at the Ministerio Internacional Jesus es el Senor on Hawkinsville Road.

Bravo made his first appearance in front of a Bibb County magistrate court judge Wednesday afternoon.

According to the sheriff’s office, officers in Atlanta pulled Bravo over for a traffic violation and ran his information. He was booked in the Clayton County jail and was transferred to Bibb County on Tuesday.

Bravo was denied bond. He’s also facing an aggravated child molestation charge.
