Macon man shot while walking down Montpelier Avenue
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb deputies are investigating a shooting that injured a Macon man Tuesday night.
According to the sheriff’s office, 22-year-old Darrayus Kinder was shot once in his left leg while walking down Montpelier Avenue around 5:30 p.m. Investigators say he heard two gun shots. Kinder told authorities he never say the person who fired the gun, but realized he was hit in the leg.
The sheriff’s office says Kinder drove himself to the hospital for treatment. His injuries are non-life threatening and he is in stable condition.
