Macon man shot trying to break up fight between couple

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man was shot while trying to stop a fight.

Bibb investigators say 39-year-old Keith Wimberly was found shot at a house on Glenn Avenue in Macon.

He told deputies it happened at the T Food Mart on Jeffersonville Road.

Wimberly says he tried to break up an argument between a man and woman.

The man pulled out a gun and fired two shots at him.

Wimberly went to the hospital and is okay.
