Macon man participating in World Race mission trip

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man is traveling around the world on a mission trip to help 11 countries in 11 months. Craig Bass stopped by 41 Today to tell us about the World Race.

Craig is a recent graduate of Middle Georgia State College. He said he thought he was going to go straight into business, but realized this was the best time for him to go on a mission trip to serve Christ.

He is leaving in September with a group of people to go to 11 different countries. He will live and work in the communities.

Bass is raising money to go on his mission trip. He’s hosted fundraisers and car washes to help him reach his goal.

His next fundraiser is Wednesday, July 9th at the Buffalo Wild Wings on Tom Hill Senior Boulevard. He said part of the profits from that night will go toward his mission trip.
