Macon Man in Jail for Speeding All Over Town

A race, a chase, running a police car off the road, and crashing on the interstate, put a Macon man behind bars Friday.  31-year-old Lewis Wimberly II is in jail for speeding all over Macon early this morning, and not stopping until he hit a guard rail on I-75.

Wimberly was taken to the Medical Center for minor injuries, before going to the Bibb LEC.
