Macon Mall to host meeting to improve retail area

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon Mall is teaming up with local leaders to bolster business in the Eisenhower Parkway retail corridor. 

The mall’s owners have proposed plans that target the area from I-475 to Pio Nono Avenue. 

Thursday afternoon, the mall’s owners, attorneys, local commissioners and other stakeholders are meeting to discuss creating a community improvement district. 

Organizers plan to present their vision and timeline for the project.

It is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m., and the public is invited to attend. 

It will be held on the Lower Level, Center Court of the mall.
