UPDATE: Two more suspects arrested in Macon killing of 19-year-old Dantwan Wynes
Investigators say a 15-year-old boy and a 26-year-old man were arrested Thursday in connection with the January shooting.

UPDATE (3/5/26): The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says it has made additional arrests in connection with the death of 19-year-old Dantwan Wynes in January.
According to an updated news release, investigators identified a 15-year-old boy and a 26-year-old man as suspects, and both were taken into custody just before 7 a.m. Thursday.
The 15-year-old was taken to the Macon Regional Youth Development Center. He’s charged with murder, criminal attempt to commit robbery and three counts of aggravated assault.
The 26-year-old, who deputies identified as Ja’nike Jacques Adams was taken to the Bibb County Jail. He’s charged with murder, aggravated assault, criminal attempt to commit a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and criminal use of an article with an altered identification mark. Deputies say Adams was also wanted in Baldwin County. He’s being held without bond.

UPDATE: An arrest has been made in connection with a deadly shooting on Hardwick Drive in Macon.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Zay’vion Ni Seah Dajour Jackson of Macon has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of 19-year-old Dantwan Wynes.
Jackson is charged with criminal attempt to commit armed robbery, three counts of aggravated assault, and felony murder.
He’s being held without bond.

UPDATE: The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has released new details confirming a fatal shooting Friday night on Hardwick Drive.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were called to the 400 block of Hardwick Drive at 8:50 p.m. Friday after a report of a person shot. When deputies got there, they found an unidentified male unresponsive with a gunshot wound. Deputy Coroner Ronnie Miley pronounced him dead at the scene.
Deputies confirmed a second victim, a 19-year-old man, was found nearby with a gunshot wound and transported by ambulance to a medical facility. The sheriff’s office says the victim is currently listed in critical condition.
Video shared by the sheriff’s office on its Facebook page Friday night appears to show a crashed SUV.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says the shooting remains under investigation and that information released so far is preliminary and subject to change.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – One person is dead and another is hospitalized after they were shot in Macon Friday night.
According to Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones, one person was found dead in the 400 block of Hardwick Drive. Jones said he had not identified the victim.
He said a second victim, a 19-year-old man, was found with a gunshot wound near Houston Avenue and Sardis Church Road and was taken to the hospital.
