Macon man dies after train collides with log truck in Macon County

A Macon man died Monday after a train collided with a log truck on Buckeye Road in Macon County. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

MACON COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man died Monday after a train collided with a log truck on Buckeye Road, according to Macon County Coroner Eddie Hosley.

Hosley tells 41NBC the cause of the crash remains unclear at this time but confirmed 43-year-old Eric Walton died on the scene.
