Macon church hosts free back-to-school event

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A north Macon invites families to attend a free back-to-school event on Saturday, July 25.

It’s from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Christ Chapel Macon, located at 170 Starcadia Circle.

Organizers say the event will provide free groceries, backpacks, and school uniforms while supplies last.

They say there will also be a dedicated kids’ play area featuring bouncy houses and activities.

In addition, a free lunch will be served during the event.
