Macon church fire believed to be arson

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Tuesday morning fire that burned down the God’s Power Church of Christ is now being investigated as an arson, that’s according to Sgt. Ben Gleaton with the Macon-Bibb Fire Department.

Gleaton says evidence collected at the scene give reasons to believe the fire was intentionally set.

The department is not releasing the findings at this time.

They’re working with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and ATF in this investigation.
