Macon-Bibb commissioners holding public hearings for rifle ordinance
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Those opposed to changing Macon-Bibb’s rifle ordinance expressed their concerns during Tuesday’s committee meetings.
Commissioners approved to table the agenda item to hold a series of public hearings.
The change in the ordinance would prohibit shooting rifles within 250 feet of a residence.
Mayor Robert Reichert says meetings can be held as early as next week.
