Macon-Bibb EMA director reflects on recent flooding

Macon-Bibb EMA Director Spencer Hawkins was out each day looking at the river and assessing the damage.

Hawkins stressed the need for a plan if you live in a place where it may flood.

He said the river reached record levels, and Macon-Bibb is working hard to clean up the damage at Amerson River Park and the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail.
