Macon-Bibb Commissioner writes another letter concerning Board of Education

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Commissioner Mallory Jones has written another letter concerning the Board of Education.

This time, he’s addressed it to Attorney General Sam Olens.

Jones cited Romain Dallemand’s administration as Superintendent and the “millions of dollars of unauthorized contracts with suppliers” that were allegedly spent.

Jones was also concerned about the community’s reputation because of it.

He mentions his last letter to Mr. Michael Moore and the multiple subpoenas he asked the U.S. District Attorney to issue.

“I sincerely believe that this wonderful community will never reach its great potential, unless and until we clean up this mess and show the people that we are serious about new government founded on honestly, transparency, and the highest integrity,” Jones wrote in the letter.

He requested Olens’ assistance in the matter, and said it was part of his duty as a Commissioner to do so.
