Macon-Bibb commission passes millage rate
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon-Bibb commissioners unanimously passed the mayor’s proposed millage rate during Tuesday night’s commission meeting.
The proposal eliminates the former City of Macon tax and keeps the county tax the same. The Operations and Finance committee approved the measure last week.
The ordinance sets the millage rate at 14.652 mills to be levied and assessed upon the taxable property in Macon-Bibb for the year 2015.
