Macon-Bibb Co. Health Department encourages immunization

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – It’s National Immunization Awareness Month in August, and the Macon-Bibb County Health Department wants you to get immunized.

Make sure you’re up-to-date with everything, especially if your kids are heading back to school.

Mary Brown from the health department stops by 41NBC to talk more about it.

If you’re not sure if you’re immunized or not, head to the Macon-Bibb County Health Department at 171 Emery Highway in Macon.

They can help you figure out which immunizations you have and which you don’t.

If you’re afraid of needles, don’t be scared–the technology has evolved so you can get it done much more quickly than you thought.
