Macon-Bibb Animal Welfare searching for dog abuse suspect
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon-Bibb Animal Welfare officials found a severely abused dog chained to the front door of the new center on Thursday evening.
They say the dog had a thick chain and padlock around its neck. The padlock underthe dog’s neck created severe cuts to her throat, but she’s expected to make a full recovery.
Macon-Bibb Animal Welfare Interim Director Sonja Adams says this is an obvious case of animal abuse. She’s asking for any information about the dog and her previous owner. If you know anything about this animal, you’re asked to call Adams at 621-6627.
