Macon-Bibb Animal Welfare holds annual Pet-A-Truck event

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon-Bibb Animal Welfare held its annual  “Pet-A-Truck” event Saturday.

The organization holds a fundraiser event every year to help United Way.

As parents donated money, kids got to pet cats and dogs and even got to meet Old Saint Nick.

“Our Pet-A-Truck event is just an event to raise money for our United Way,” Tracy Blue, kennel supervisor at Macon-Bibb Animal Walfare, says. “One hundred percent goes to our United Way and one hundred percent goes into the community. It goes to organizations like Red Cross and the food bank. It’s just a wonderful event.”
