Localicious Festival features local food along with arts and crafts

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Houston County festival featured locally grown food along with local arts and crafts Saturday.

Nearly 70 Localicious Festival attendees explored some of Warner Robins’ locally grown foods and art work.

It was the second year of the event. Organizers say more than 250 people attended the festival. They are hoping festival attendance will increase as they continue the event.

“Localicious is an opportunity for the community to come together and support local foods, our local growers, local music and local art,” says Localicious Festival Co-Chair Lori Freeman.

Localicious is managed by Land to Hand, a Warner Robins non-profit agency which focuses on creating awareness of the importance of local whole foods to combat the rising health issues among Georgians.
