Production company filming series at Macon’s old coaling tower, other sites; Fatty’s Pizza closed through Friday
Crews are filming at the old coaling tower on Seventh Street and other Macon locations this week, according to Visit Macon.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — King Street Productions is filming scenes for a series at the old coaling tower on Seventh Street and other locations around Macon through Friday, according to Visit Macon’s Aaron Buzza.
King Street Productions is known for working on several series created by Yellowstone and Tulsa King producer Taylor Sheridan.
Buzza confirmed Wednesday that the production company has filed for a permit to film at several sites in the city this week. “We are excited to have them in town!” Buzza said in an email.
Buzza told 41NBC by phone that the project is for a series, not a film, but did not provide additional details. He also said location information for Thursday and Friday was not available at the moment.
Fatty’s Pizza announced on its Facebook page Wednesday night that it’s closed for the rest of the day and will remain closed through Friday due to filming. In a separate post in the Support Macon Restaurants Facebook group, Fatty’s said its downtown location will be closed “for the rest of today, all day tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday for lunch.”
A Macon-Bibb County spokesperson did not release further information about the production.
Some local media outlets and social media posts have mentioned the filming is connected to the Paramount+ series Tulsa King, but as of this report, 41NBC has not independently verified that information.
