Kindergartner Wins Big for College Fund
CENTERVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – One Houston County family did not expect to get a head start,
but after their daughter won a sweepstakes contest, plans to begin her college fund got underway.
Natalie Brantley, 6, won the Path2College sweepstakes competition for $5,529 toward her future college education.
According to www.path2college529.com, this program is an investment option for anyone seeking to plan ahead for college.
Throughout the year, the program randomly draws entry names to win money for college. Natalie’s parents entered her name at the Centerville Library.
She became one of the youngest winners in the state of Georgia.
Amanda and Nathan Bradley, Natalie’s parents, say they are ready to build their daughter’s fund.
“We’re excited to watch the money grow, and we’re not necessarily looking forward to her growing up, and going to college…we’re excited about being able to help her get through her college,” says her father Nathan.
“We just want her to accomplish her dreams, and be whatever she wants to be,” says her mother Amanda.
Natalie says she loves reading fairy books with her mom and dad. She plans to be an art teacher when she grows up.
