Keeping it sunny to end the week

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Friday will be sunny with temperatures peaking just below the average for this time of year.
This Evening
A sunny afternoon will become a cool night as skies remain clear overhead. The wind will be light from the north-northeast around 5-10 mph. Temperatures will valley in the upper 40s and lower 50s around the region.
Tomorrow
The final day of the work week will be pleasant as conditions stay sunny with temperatures peaking in the low to mid 80s. The wind will be out of the northeast early however a shift to the southeast is likely during the afternoon.
Overnight will be clear once again with temperatures likely to drop into the lower 50s by Saturday morning, or a few degrees below the average for this time of year.
This Weekend
The weekend will see things heat up with temperatures possibly reaching lower 90s by Saturday afternoon and likely getting there by Sunday. Scattered storms look possible over the back half of the day on Sunday which could help with some of the heat. Conditions will remain hot heading into next week.
