Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful Commission honors its volunteers

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful Commission honored its volunteers Monday during its annual luncheon.

More than 30 volunteers were recognized for their countless hours dedicated to making the community a better place to live. KMBB President and CEO Pam Carswell tells 41NBC the winners who were awarded carried out the organization’s mission.

“Our mission is to provide a better quality of life for all citizens of Macon through three areas and that is recycling, beautification, and litter prevention,” Carswell said.

This year marked the 41st year Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful acknowledged its hardworking volunteers. According to the organization, KMBB implements programs for improvements and works together to encourage behavioral changes that result in a cleaner, greener Macon.
