Jurors chosen from 61 people for Macon baseball field murder trial

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Nearly 61 potential jurors showed up in a Bibb County Superior Courtroom, to serve on the Jedarrius Meadows murder trial.  The 18-year-old is accused of killing 16-year-old Damian Clayton.  The fatal shooting happened February 2105 on the Macon Little League Baseball Field.
     

Meadows sat quietly with his Defense Attorneys Jay Davis and Mark Barnes, as they listened to
Macon Judicial Circuit Assistant District Attorney John Regan question potential jurors.

At times during the questioning, Bibb County Superior Court Judge Howard Simms called Davis and Regan to the bench to discuss the jury selection.

Opening arguments are scheduled to start Wednesday morning.
