Jones County Sheriff’s Office looking for suspects after armed robbery at Dollar General
The Jones County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public's help after two men reportedly robbed a woman at gunpoint outside the Dollar General at 2480 Shurling Drive on Saturday afternoon.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Jones County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help after two men reportedly robbed a woman at gunpoint outside the Dollar General at 2480 Shurling Drive on Saturday afternoon.
Deputies say it happened as the victim was loading her purchases into her car. Two men approached her in the parking lot, and according to the sheriff’s office, one of the suspects pulled out a handgun, pointed it in her face and threatened to shoot her. The suspects then fled in the victim’s vehicle, a gold 2007 Honda Accord LX with Georgia license plate PTE1677, and drove into Bibb County.
The sheriff’s office says one of the suspects was wearing a white T-shirt and black pants, and the other was wearing a red hoodie and black pants.
