JONES COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Jones County deputies say a man arrested on Saturday now faces multiple charges.
A Jones County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post says a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle being driven by William Shamone Lewis. The deputy reported he could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, which led to a search.
According to the sheriff’s office, the search revealed oxycodone, MDMA tablets, mushrooms, bags of marijuana, THC vapes and several bags of THC gummies.
Lewis is being held at the Jones County Jail. He’s charged with multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
