Adrian man charged after ‘violent’ home invasion, drug search
Investigators say the arrest followed a multi-day investigation involving multiple agencies.

ADRIAN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a “violent” home invasion investigation in Johnson County.
According to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, Aaron Sanchez, of Adrian, was taken into custody December 12 after investigators executed a residential search warrant with help from the Treutlen County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Department of Community Supervision.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation began December 10 after deputies received information about a “violent” home invasion in Adrian. Investigators worked over several days to gather evidence and develop leads, which they say led them to Sanchez and an unidentified second suspect.
Deputies did not reveal details of the home invasion.
Sanchez faces multiple charges in Johnson County, including aggravated assault, home invasion, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The Treutlen County Sheriff’s Office filed additional charges, including possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
During the search of the home, investigators reported finding about 1.5 pounds of marijuana, methamphetamine, a firearm and items that had been stolen from the victim’s home.
Sanchez was taken into custody and was then taken to the Treutlen County Jail.
