Jibri Bryan murder suspects indicted

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Bibb County Grand Jury indicted the two men accused of killing Mercer Basketball player Jibri Bryan.

Damion Henderson and Jarvis Miller are each facing one count of malice murder, four counts of felony murder, one count of aggravated assault, one count of armed robbery, one count of possession of firearm during commission of a felony and one count possession of firearm by a convicted felon.

The indictment says Henderson and Miller took a gun and money from Bryan the day of the murder.

It also says the two men were trying to sell “clear capsules containing a brown powder” as Xanax.

During Henderson’s commitment hearing, investigators from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said Bryan was shot after he refused to buy the pills because he thought they were fake.

Miller told investigators Henderson shot Bryan. Henderson’s attorney says Henderson didn’t.

Bryan was shot on February 2, 2016 at the Flash Foods gas station on Forsyth Street in Macon.
