STATESBORO, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Elizabeth “Liz” Johnson, a forty-year insurance industry veteran, has announced her candidacy for Georgia Insurance Commissioner. She says she will work to provide the city with a better insurance protection plan than was previously offered by incumbent leaders. Jonson has been in the insurance industy for forty years and is a former elected member of the Democatic National Committee.
