Ingleside Baptist Church brings ‘fun’ to fall season with annual festival
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Ingleside Baptist Church brought in the fall season with a bang Wednesday evening at its annual family fall festival.
Food trucks, music performances, more than 20 rides and inflatable blow up slides were all attractions for families to enjoy on the church grounds.
Andy Johnson with the church says the fun atmosphere and activities are great but for volunteers at the festival serving the community is what it’s all about.
“It takes several hundred people to operate a significant event like this so you can probably just see them in the background people serving so we’re grateful to be able to serve other people in jesus name too,” said Johnson
Johnson says within the last few years the fall festival has grown tremendously–with nearly 2700 people attending the previous year’s. They’re expecting around that number this year.
