Jackknifed tractor-trailer blocks I-75 South lanes in Monroe County
Deputies say no one was hurt in the single-vehicle crash but ask drivers to avoid the area near mile marker 180.

UPDATE (11 p.m.): All lanes are now back open for travel.
MONROE COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A jackknifed tractor-trailer blocked two lanes of I-75 South near Rumble Road Tuesday night, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
In an email, Monroe County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Anna Watkins said the crash happened near mile marker 180 and involved a single vehicle. The two far-right lanes were blocked.
Watkins said the driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
“The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office would ask for everyone to use caution in the area of 75 Southbound near mile marker 180 near Rumble Road,” Watkins said. “We urge everyone to please use caution while driving and if you do not need to be on the roads please stay at home.”
As of 9:10 p.m., the Georgia 511 website continued to show a traffic backup in the area, with one right lane still blocked.
