Hundreds bring resumes to Central Georgia Tech career fair

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Hundreds of people brought their resumes to Central Georgia Technical College Friday morning.

The school put on a career fair for students and residents in Macon.

Dozens of employers talked to people interested in getting a job. One CGTC career services adviser says he wanted to make sure his students were fully prepared.

“We look to try to help our students. We look to try to help our employers and outside to the community we want to try to help them. So when we have events like this, it helps promotes this college as well as our students and our employers,” Devester Coley said.

CGTC holds several career fairs a year at their different college campuses in Middle Georgia. Plans are to put on another one next spring.
