A sunny afternoon will give way to a clear night around Middle Georgia. It will be calm with lows dropping into the upper 60s and lower 70s. While most of the region will be seeing wind from the west-northwest, the southeastern counties may still see it from the southwest, keeping conditions slightly warmer.

Tomorrow

It will be a mostly sunny afternoon around Middle Georgia as temperatures climb into the mid to upper 90s for the highs. Heat indexes will push into the upper 90s with a few spots into the triple digits. While this is obviously still hot, its cooler than last week where temperatures of the same brought heat indexes of 105 or more. Ambient wind will be out of the north-northwest around 5 mph. Rain is not expected, however a stray shower or storm cannot 100% be ruled out.
