Hotels are booking up due to Hurricane Florence

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Multiple hotels 41NBC News reached out to say they’re completely booked through the weekend.

Days Inn Manager Paul Tucker says they’re preparing rooms now for evacuees. He says he won’t know how many are from Coastal Georgia until they check in.

“We do bend the rules for them a bit. Especially with our pet policy. Normally, we do try to limit the number of pets allowed per room. We do bend that for the guests. We’ve also been offering them half-priced pet fees,” Tucker said.

The Days Inn has about five rooms left. They’re expecting those to get booked, as it gets closer to Florence hitting the coast.
