Hot hump day ahead

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Temperatures will push into the upper 90s with heat indices climbing into the triple digits tomorrow afternoon.
This Evening
A partly sunny afternoon will give way to a clear night around the region. A couple of small showers will be possible while the sun is up, however. Most of the region will not see any rain. Wind will be out of the south-southeast around 5 mph as lows drop into the lower 70s and upper 60s. Some patchy fog will be possible ahead of sunrise tomorrow.
Tomorrow
Wednesday will be a good bit above average with highs climbing into the mid to upper 90s in the afternoon. Real feels will likely reach the triple digits for many spots, however a Heat Advisory is not expected to be issued at this time. A spotty shower or two will be possible, but most of the region will stay dry. Skies will be mostly sunny with cumulus clouds filling in during the afternoon.
Overnight will be mostly clear and a bit muggy. Wind will blow from the south-southwest around 5 mph. Lows should mainly be in the lower 70s.

An area of disturbance has been identified in the Atlantic Basin with a 20% chance to develop into a depression within the next 7 days.
