The Home Depot helps feed the hungry
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Home Depot fired up their grills Wednesday afternoon in an effort to help feed the homeless and the hungry.
Store managers and department supervisors from several Home Depot locations, including Macon, Warner Robins, and Dublin, were at the Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia giving out meals of hot dogs and hamburgers.
“It’s very rewarding, absolutely,” said Macon Home Depot store manager Jennifer Munthali. “It’s part of our Home Deport culture, and it’s something we love doing everyday.”
As well as food, The Home Depot also provided hygiene bags filled with items such as razors, soap, and towels.
